The ISO9000 standard describes the concept of the quality management system and specifies its terminology.


ISO 9001 standards specify quality management system requirements and are used when an organization needs to demonstrate its ability to provide products that meet customer and applicable regulatory requirements.


ISO9004 provides guidance for quality management systems, including continuous improvement processes that satisfy organizational customers and other stakeholders


ISO9011 provides guidance for managing and implementing environmental auditing and quality auditing.


These standards constitute a closely related set of quality management system standards, which are conducive to mutual understanding in domestic and international trade.
